Terrorist attacks

In the U.S we do have terrorist attack. Theses terrorist attack are mainly because religion or other differences. Terrorist attacks come when you less expected. The attacks sometimes can eve cause wars and arguments with the different countries. Many terrorist don’t attack because they people but because they want to hurt the government which will finally end up hurting everybody in the country. Most terrorist, terrorize planes or send bomb to different places. One of the big accidents that terrorists cause was the crash of the twin towers were many people were killed and a piece of history and part of the city was destroyed. The country has done all it can to protect the people from these attacks but sometimes you just don’t see them coming it is just a matter of being prepaid and ready for whatever is coming. I think that terrorist are not gaining anything from their attacks just more trouble and less respect, there has to be another way to solve the countries difference.

Blogging

I think that this project was a good experience for me because I got to know new people and learn some new things about the people you did know. It gives you an idea of how things are in other parts of the world. It helps me understand the difference between people and other places. Some things that I did not like so much was that not everybody posted their blogs or some people added their blogs at the last moment and that would affect people’s grades because they had nobody to comment to. The project was great I think that the World geography teachers should continue doing it, to give their student an opportunity to be in other places of the world with new friends through writing. It makes you find people who have similarities to you and know people who liked things you thought you were the only one who liked them. It was awesome and very entertaining.

Population In the U.S

In the United States we have a very diverse population. People from different places come to the U.S for a better living and chances in life. The U.S understands the people from other places by learning their cultures, giving them the same rights and the people also have the chance to express themselves in schools were they can learn different things about all different kinds of cultures and places. The U.S welcomes all the people like if this was their home, there is no difference show between the U.S and those people, everything is equal. The U.S understand that those people from all over the world come because they need help not just because they want to move, they are all looking for something new with good education, and most important new and good jobs.

My favorite places

I live in Austin, Texas. In Austin I have many favorite places, but one of my special favorite places would be going to the Chicano Park and going to the river. In the Chicano Park you can see a beautiful view of the whole city. Chicano park is my favorite place because there, you feel relaxed, and relief of all problems. You don’t hear any noises. From the park you can see all the light of the city everything looks bright and shiny. There you don’t have time to think about bad and sad thing u just forgets everything of that moment. And I also like going to the rivers because I like to listen to the water go by and seen rocks disappear when u drop them. Sometimes I just like view people having fun and playing around. When I go to those special places I feel like I am in another different word it is just moments that I don’t think I can have anywhere else because there is not that quiet feeling I feel when I go to the park or the lake. It’s just something magical, were nothing bad or sad can get to you, it’s all happiness and joy.

Anderson High School

In go to Anderson High School, Anderson is a very happy and colorful school. There is many clubs and sports in the school, there’s is volleyball, basketball both for men and woman, soccer for men and woman, swimming, track, baseball, belles, cheerleaders, cross country, football, lacrosse for men and woman and many more. Know the cross country team is running for money to help the school. There is many clubs like the art and book club, the clubs help you meet your goals and get better in your understanding and interests in school. There’s also clubs that don’t have to do with school things there is also games and language clubs. Students in Anderson do their best to have interest in school they get there help in all they need and they don’t give up with something they are having trouble with. Teachers give all their support to the students, and the classes are the most interesting classes ever, they are just not normal classes, they are classes that you enjoy going to and don’t get bored and tired of going, the teaches are funny and understand everything you are going through. I think that every student in Anderson thinks that Anderson is one of the best schools ever and i recommend it to anybody that wants to have a good and interesting education.

Immigrants

In the United States there is many immigrants from a lot of different parts of the world. Immigrants in the United States make a very important role everywhere. They work and try there hardness to success in there lives. Most immigrants come because they want a better life and want to help there families, some immigrants want there children to have good education and attend to a decent college. When it comes to immigrants then country gives them almost all the rights they need like hospitality and shelter. Some people go and work with out any documentation, people who do this and are found my the law are taken back to there country, but immigrants that have there decent job and all there papers are order then they should have no fear to deal with the law. In the United States immigrants are not discriminated or treated differently just because they are from different places. Most people that work in the U.S are immigrants and they have help the government and the country with a lot of money and development of the country.

My Summer

In my 2008 summer i did a lot of new things. One of the things i did was go to Cuba and visit my dad, brother, grandma and other family. There i had a lot of fun i went to the beach a couple of times and went to the capital to explore the city, and visit a zoo, i was not at home a lot but always tried to spend time with everybody. After my trip to Cuba i went to Cancun and when to a major artistic museum, at first i thought it was gonna be boring but then when i was really paying attention and putting thought into the art everything looked cool and interesting. The family and me went to visit a couple of friends and spent most of my time in a pools or out in the stores. My trip to Cuba and Cancun was great, but then the fun does not end there, after i got to Austin, we had a big celebration for my Quinceanera and the party lasted most of the day. We went to Six Flags a couple of times and every Saturday or Sunday we were at the lakes spending time with our family and friends. I think that this summer has been the summer that i have traveled the most i had to ride like 5 planes and was almost always in a car going to different places. I hope my next summer is has good and fun has this one.

Yariselis Ramos

Hi my name is Yariselis Ramos i am 15 years old. I am a 9th grade Anderson High student. I been living in Texas for eight years, i came from Cuba when i was seven years old in 1999. I visit my family in Cuba every six months or two times a year. I have three sisters and one brother. I am a very happy, nice and hard working person. I am very friendly and have a lot of friends . My important and special Friend is called Keyla, she has been with me in the good and bad times, she is one of the people i can trust and tell everything, and i have known her for about four years know. I always try to help, and cooperate with people in what ever i can, i never give up when i know i can do something. I love to listen to music, play volley ball and spend most of my free time with family and friends. I am also a very understandable and caring daughter. I have two great parents who i love and care for. This is my first year in Anderson high, i am looking forward to finishing high school with good grades and entering one of the best colleges in Austin. I think that my major goals in life would be to graduate has a doctor, start my Carree and be able to help and give everything i can to my parents who have done everything the can to make me success in life.
